"Cullen Bunn has a slow burn at the beginning; if this were prose, it would suffer from far too much exposition. The crossover with Venom and the Venomverse is entertaining and X-men has been experimenting with cosmic storylines in X-Men: Gold and Cable as well. Yet, like the other two titles, this doesn't seem to know what to do with the arc, dragging out of the set-up for far too long, and the ending seems unnaturally truncated t both Venomized and to get a B-team out in the X-men: Blue arc. While not terrible, this is an unfortunate trend where X-books seem lost and pulling at gimmicky straws."

- After an unintended hiatus, I'm back to fallowing the exploits of the young, time-displaced X-Men. The events of the last volume have revealed to these heroes that they will have no choice but to return to their own time, and soon. How much does this effect them? Not much actually, the book kinda skipping it over. Instead the story gets into motion when Cyclops' space pirate father (yes, really) gets captured by symbiote wearing mercenaries. The X-Men must journey into space to rescue him and his crew, but not without kidnapping a symbiote expert to help them; Eddie Brock's Venom. The story also loosely fallows up the Venomverse event, and leads into the Venomized event. Hopefully you have some knowledge of writer Cullen Bunn's work on those series or you might be somewhat lost. The story itself is pretty good. I've already said I like how Bunn handles the younger X-Men, but I was impressed by his handling of Venom as a character as well. I do wish this had done a better job fallowing the previous volume, but it's still a fun crossover. I should mention though that it's not a very long story for the issue count. A total of four artists worked on this volume and the art is all good. My favorite would have to be the Venom issues art by Edgar Salazar and Ario Anindito. Overall, it's a fine collection. Not the best of this series, but still a worthwhile addition.

- nice read
- Not a fan of XMen but this proved interesting. It felt like venom had joined the guardians of the galaxy again for a bit
- Fun and interesting story, pretty good artwork too.

COLLECTING X-MEN BLUE 21-22 AND ANNUAL 1, VENOM 162-163 - I really liked this story. X-men blue is one of my favorite current series, but this story made me interested in Venom. I can’t wait to see what happens next in the respective series.
