• Doing a pre-read before my 11 yr old boy reads, I have to say, hooked in the first book. Great read, and so far no vampire, demon, witchcrafty stuff, which is so hard to find for young readers now adays. By the 2nd book, lots of twists and turns....very "actionous" ( as my boy puts it), suspenseful and cliff hangey, Good job.
• This series and author are a hit in the 6th grade class! the kids are swapping books are talking about them. Good author!!!!
• Purchased entire set for my 10 year old grandson! He spent many sleepless nights reading these books! Hard to get up in the morning! He loved the entire series and read all within a 2 week period because he could not put the books down!
• My grandson and I are reading them at the same time. He is enjoying them. I am not a 13 year old and I love the books as well.
• I like teen books because there's no f word, and generaly no swearing, no sex, and no rec drugs..but these books are for pre teen..and since im a grand..it's a bit too simple for me..but I did read 3 of them..i could not make myself read the4th one...
• My son started and enjoyed the first book before we moved and it was lost to storage.I found this priced right set and had to get him reading chapter books. (He prefers comic books). Great Series and delivered when expected.
